Walks & Talks - Barberville Pioneer

We will travel back in time to earlier centuries and learn how the pioneers of central Florida lived and survived. Barberville offers a working candle shop, yarn mill, blanket shop, as well as a blacksmith and farm. Be sure to bring a packed lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, and comfortable, closed toe walking shoes.

Walks & Talks is a monthly program where you can exercise, socialize, and learn all at the same time! Transportation is provided to and from downtown starting at the Forest Community Center. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED BY NOVEMBER 6TH.

$10 per registrant.

This program is for adults 18+

Transportation is available, or meet at the destination. Van leaves from Forest Community Center, 777 S. CR 314A, Ocklawaha.

Please bring lunch (unless otherwise indicated) and water.

Comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen/hats/sunglasses, bug spray.
